    Manner's Monday

    Manner's Monday is a program designed to teach our students all about proper dining etiquette. Students are invited to the Forrest Bistro to enjoy a 3 course meal and learn the proper etiquette when dining at a restaurant, wedding, or special event!

    Dance Residency

    The 3rd and 4th grade students participate in a 8-week program run by Mrs. Susan Thomasson. Students learn how to tell a story by developing technical skills and using self-expression through movement.

    Circus Arts

    The 1st and 2nd grade students participate in a 9-day Arts-in-Education residency wherein students study the art of the Clown! Through the exploration and mastery of circus skills and clowning techniques, the students are given an opportunity to break through their personal barriers and discover more of their own abilities.

    Tanglewood

    Tanglewood is a school wide concert performed by our fantastic students & staff each year. This tradition started 24 years ago by our talented music teacher, Christine Knitel. The evening provides an opportunity for our community to celebrate our amazing school! This year, the theme of Tanglewood is "100 years of Friendship."

Awards

Forrest School was recognized as Reader's Digest's America's 100 Best in 2007 for our Manner's Monday Program. The program still continues today!

Performance Report

The 2022-2023 School Performance Report rating placed Forrest School in the top 4% in the state with a score of 88.89%(Summative score of 95.98%)
